Madoka is a playwright and Kazuma is a musician. They live separate lives in neighbouring parts of Tokyo. When they both visit the same independent cinema, something impossible happens: they see each other as the film playing on the screen. They are able to communicate across this strange divide and begin to interfere in each other’s stories, creating a playful sci-fi comedy where cinema and reality collide.
