This short film series captures raw, urgent voices from a younger generation trying to understand the world around them and the uncertain future ahead. Across India, Morocco, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, the five films move between family conversations, childhood work, displacement, survival, friendship and dreams that continue even in difficult places. **What’s the Film About?** follows Indian filmmaker Poorva Bhat during a camping weekend with her two children, as she searches for the right way to speak with them about consent. Personal, thoughtful and quietly brave, the film turns a family moment into a wider reflection on care, trust and the conversations parents cannot avoid. **In the Mind of a Thief** enters the inner world of young thieves through a playful mix of observation and hand-drawn animation. Rather than reducing its subjects to judgement, the film explores the unusual connection formed between the children and filmmaker Yasmine Mahjoub, revealing curiosity, mischief and unexpected friendship. **Why?** focuses on Bader, a young Syrian refugee in Jordan who, like many boys around him, must work from an early age to help support his family. In just a few minutes, the film opens a direct window onto childhood shaped by responsibility, displacement and the hard question contained in its title. **The Dream** follows Ahmad, a Syrian boy in exile on the streets of Beirut, where selling coffee and shining shoes are among the few ways to earn money. Behind the everyday struggle, he holds on to the hope of a better life, turning a small portrait of work into a story of longing and resilience. **Labyrinth** takes us to Shatila camp, on the margins of Beirut, where a young man feels trapped by family expectations, love and the weight of being seen as a failure. In a place where escape is difficult, dreaming becomes both refuge and resistance, even when the future feels like a maze.
