R&B Jam Session
The primary objective of this R&B Jam Session is to create an opportunity for emerging and established talents to work together and share their experiences and ideas with an audience.
The event aims to foster a sense of community, inspire collaboration among musical talents in Kota Kinabalu and strengthen relationships in the local music scene.
The event program
1. Live performances:
Neo Juice, a newly formed R&B Neo Soul Band, known for their performance at Sabah Jazz 2023, will kickstart the event with their unique covers and musical arrangements, leading the jam session and closing the segment with another performance of one to two songs.
2. A Jam Session for Musicians:
To achieve our goals in supporting emerging talents, we will allocate some time during the event for an open mic session, where the host band will randomly match jammers to form new bands and arrange their covers of R&B songs.
3. Collaboration:
The event will see an opportunity for talents to collaborate with fellow musicians and artists to perform in an impromptu jam session, experiment with their ideas and create a musical synergy.
