Two Mountains Photography Project 4.0
A Cross-Cultural Collaboration
Since 2013, the Two Mountains Photography Project has brought together photographers from Japan and Malaysia to explore the symbolic and cultural significance of Mt. Fuji and Mt. Kinabalu. These two iconic peaks, each deeply rooted in their country's identity, have inspired thoughtful photographic works and meaningful connections across borders.
Celebrating 10 Years of Creative Exchange
To mark its 10th anniversary, the project returns with TM4.0, a new edition that brings back six participating photographers from earlier chapters, three from Japan and three from Malaysia. This time, the focus is on creative growth, reflecting on the past, while exploring new ideas and more personal ways of storytelling.
The Photographers
🇯🇵 from Japan: Atsushi Okuyama, Kentaro Kumon, Yuki Morita
🇲🇾 from Malaysia: Flanegan Bainon, Nadirah Zakariya, Stacy Liu
More Than Just Mountains
Through their lenses, the mountains become more than landscapes, they're symbols of connection, memory, and a deeper look at what unites us across cultures.
TM4.0 offers a quiet space for reflection and connection through photography.
