Afro-Latin Social Dance

Everyone's Welcome on the Dance Floor

Are you looking for something fun and social this Sunday? Join us for the Afro Latin Social Dance Night right here in KK!

We'll be playing Salsa, Kizomba, and Bachata, three styles that will bring the room to life. Whether you're already hooked on the rhythm or just curious to give it a try, this evening is for anyone who loves music, movement, and connecting with others.

If you are new to dancing, don't worry. Experienced dancers will be on hand to guide beginners and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all.

What is Afro-Latin dance?

Afro Latin social dancing brings together styles with deep roots and vibrant cultures. It's not just about steps. It's about feeling the music and enjoying the moment with others. Here is a quick look at the stars of the night.

Salsa

Fast, joyful, and full of energy, Salsa mixes Afro Caribbean rhythms with Latin flair. Danced in pairs, it's all about spins, steps, and fun on the floor.

Kizomba

Kizomba is smooth and soulful, with slow beats and close partner movement. Born in Angola, it's all about connection and flow.

Bachata

Sweet and easy to learn, Bachata comes from the Dominican Republic. Its gentle rhythm and romantic vibe make it perfect for beginners.

Why join?

Because dancing is good for the soul! It's also a great way to meet people. And because you deserve something joyful to look forward to this weekend! The community is friendly, the music is amazing, and the vibe is welcoming, whether you want to dance or just soak it all in.

Make a note for Sunday 25 May 2025. Put on something comfortable, bring a friend, or come alone, and let yourself enjoy the rhythm.
