Colours of Malaysia 2025 - Rugading
A night of dance, rhythm and shared identity!
The Colours of Malaysia 2025 performance is coming to Kota Kinabalu! Now in its sixth year, this national cultural programme brings together dance and music from across the country for a vibrant evening celebrating Malaysia's rich cultural diversity.
Featuring everything from the sounds of traditional Chinese drums and the grace of Indian classical dance to the indigenous rhythms of Sabah and Sarawak, this is a rare opportunity to experience Malaysia's artistic diversity all in one place.
Organised by the National Department for Culture and Arts (JKKN), this touring series is performed by their in-house arts troupe and aims to preserve and promote cultural heritage through live performances.
The theme for this edition is: Rugading, a Kadazan-Dusun word that evokes strength, determination, and character. It's a fitting tribute to Malaysia's cultural spirit.
