Street dance is more than just steps and music. It's about energy, self-expression, and the dialogue between dancers and their audience. From freestyle moves to precise choreography, each dancer brings their unique story to the dance floor.

This Sunday, the Centre Point Sabah stage will be filled with young talent from Sabah, eager to share their passion for hip-hop, popping, locking, and more.

This is the fifth season of the annual showcase, and each year, the talent, styles, and energy become stronger and more diverse. The event provides an opportunity to watch local dancers perform at their best and to support the next generation of artists right here in KK.

Dancers Who Inspire

Three well-known figures from the street dance community will guide the energy of the day:

Ahmad Zaidyansjah, an actor and a member of the Walawei and Dem Lepak Boyz crews, will bring his deep connection to the local scene and his raw hip-hop energy.

Shanice Koh is a dancer and choreographer who works between Sabah and the U.S.A. She bridges styles and cultures with her dynamic movement and international perspective.

Dielo, the founder and captain of Illeagle Freedom, shares his experience as a boundary-pushing dancer and instructor who nurtures new talent.

Expect creativity, rhythm, and plenty of moments that will make you smile, cheer, and maybe even move to the beat.
