Sendiri, an experimental dance duet

The Weight of Solitude

This is the second time Sendiri will be performed. It's another chance to witness a piece that strips dance down to its bare truth.

Sendiri isn't dressed up with lights or staging. It's two dancers, Nelson and ف (fa), standing raw in front of you with nothing but their bodies and the truths they carry.

This duet isn't about spectacle, it's about solitude, mental knots, and the stubborn will to keep moving. Both artists know what it means to sit with pain, to feel unseen, to keep creating when everything feels stacked against you. That's what bleeds into their movement.

Their language is spare, sometimes improvised, sometimes sharp enough to sting. It's a dialogue of constraint and release, where the body keeps searching for air.

Sendiri remembers, processes, reaches out. It shows what art looks like when you strip away everything except need.

At its core, it carries a quiet but powerful reminder:

Walking alone doesn't mean you're invisible.

For this second performance, there's a little extra: the first 10 to register get merchandise. A small token, proof you showed up.
