It's Loud, Kids! IV
On 24 January 2026, the volume knob will be at Loud Music Studio in Taipan Inanam.
IT'S LOUD, KIDS! is back, bringing together a selection of the heavy music scene in KK in one small venue where the floor remembers every previous gig and the walls already know the lyrics.
The line-up includes:
- Beyond My Rage - Beatdown / Hardcore
- The Outlaw's - hardcore / metal
- Stand Instead - hardcore
- Ain't No Shit - heavy hardcore
- Rejected Banana - punk rock
- Letters2her - post hardcore
- Vetokrust - raw punk
- SoulRider - rugged noise
It's a mix of breakdowns, raw punk speed and noise that feels like it grew straight out of local practice rooms. You don't need a plan for this one: walk in, stand close to the amps, and let the noise take care of the rest.

Spotlight on a Few Artists

Beyond My Rage
Hailing from Kota Kinabalu, this beatdown/hardcore band has been blasting audiences since 2008. With heavy riffs and powerful breakdowns, they energise wild crowds while exploring themes of struggle and resilience through their raw lyrics.
The band has released two EPs, "Untitled Demo" (2008) and "Real Deal" (2013), along with a single titled "Diablo 70" (2023).

The Outlaw's

Stand Instead

Ain't No Shit
Ain't No Shit plays hardcore in its rawest form - direct, unrelenting and built for the pit. Their sound sits in the same blast zone as bands like Get the Shot, Comeback Kid and Trapped Under Ice: heavy riffs, hard-stopping breakdowns and songs made to be shouted shoulder to shoulder, not listened to politely in the back. With a renewed lineup for 2025, they sound tighter, faster and meaner around the edges – exactly how this kind of hardcore is supposed to hit.

Rejected Banana
Rejected Banana are one of the newer names on the scene. They made their first live performance at the Muszilla Sound Fest at the Kibambangan Waterpark in 2025. Their debut single, Kokoleto, is already available on YouTube, showcasing a sound firmly grounded in classic punk rock. It's fast and catchy, clearly influenced by bands like Good Charlotte, The Offspring, Sum 41, and other troublemakers from that era.
