Lines That Became Stories

fromFriday 1 May 2026toTuesday 30 June 2026

From simple lines to stories full of life

Lines That Became Stories celebrates 20 years of Kendylife's creative journey, showcasing her evolution from simple doodles to comics and illustrations brimming with humour, nostalgia, and scenes of everyday life.

This exhibition gives visitors a glimpse into the artist's sketchbook, showcasing his work from his early experiments to his more recent pieces. Every drawing captures moments, memories and tales, breathing life into them through lines and demonstrating how a simple mark can evolve into a character, a scene or even an entire world.

The exhibition also showcases collaborations with other artists, including Japson Wong, Illfar and many more. Through these collaborative pieces, visitors can observe how diverse styles and concepts converge to enrich the storytelling experience.

Beyond the artworks themselves, Lines That Became Stories also reflects Kendylife's commitment to giving back to the community through art education, collaboration, and creative expression. The exhibition encourages others to explore their own stories through art.
