BOIL (Beyond Our Imagined Lives)
Passionate about the iconic sound of Nirvana, BOIL found its roots in a shared love of Nirvana's music. It's what led them to form their band. While their admiration for Nirvana remains a driving force, they've evolved into creators of their own unique sound. Today they find even greater joy in creating and performing their own original grunge music.
Spinning Toxic
Born in '97, rocked the backyard, took a break 'til 2016. Back with new faces, hitting up Kota Kinabalu, Penampang, and Papar with raw energy. Living life through music, Spinning Toxic blends '90s alternative vibes (with a hint of metal) into their sonic concoction.
Axilla
Hailing from Borneo, this experimental grunge band deliver a powerful sound. With their intense and raw energy. Axilla push the boundaries of grunge music, creating an experience that is both electrifying and unforgettable. Don't miss the chance to witness their explosive performance!
Melodychain
Melodychain is a post-grunge band from Papar, Sabah, formed in 2001 by grunge enthusiasts. Influenced by bands such as Nirvana and Butterfingers, they have been active in the local gig scene since 2003 and have been performing throughout Malaysia since 2010.
Uniquecorn
Uniquecorn is a grunge band hailing from Sabah, with roots in the town of Papar (Penampang). Influenced by legendary bands like Silverchair, Mindforce, and more, they fuse their inspirations into a sound that's raw, powerful, and undeniably electric.
The lineup features Josh on guitar and vocals, Shane on drums, and Adam on bass, three passionate musicians who deliver high-energy performances every time they hit the stage.
Master Tape
With a blend of indie rock, garage grit, and a touch of chaos, Master Tape brings raw energy from Keningau to the stage. Since forming in 2019, the band has blended noisy riffs, powerful vocals, and tight rhythms rooted in garage and alternative rock. Expect high volume, distortion, and unapologetic rock 'n' roll.
